I see that you stopped at Cathedral Gorge State Park CG, we stayed their and did some walks and a little geocaching.

Hi Ralph - I forgot to mention to not forget to visit Cedar Breaks National Monument on your way to Cedar City. Oh well. Hopefully you did. The Lee's Ferry posting here, all the photos, don't show up. The links don't work.

Hi Ralph - love seeing all the reports and pictures on your boondocking stays, especially the most recent ones near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. That's one of our favorite areas. Next time we go back we'll start with the Jacob Lake FS CG, thank you for the report on that place, then scope out the boondocking West of 67 past DeMotte. Keep those reports coming@

Hi Ralph,
I saw your posting over at the RVnet and see that you will be coming back by the way of Hwy 50, we have taking Hwy 50 a few times and always like it.

Here are some CGs that we stayed at on Hwy 50.this last April.

Great Basin NP. your geezer card is good their, they have 3 CGs with water and several places to explore.

Cave Lakes SP. east of Ely Nv. water and dump, I think $20.00
In Ely, Nv. I saw several trucks and Rvs parked behind a gas station across from Mc Donald's in a field and I herd that it was OK for over night .

East of Austin, free camping at Hickison Petroglyph BLM area ( we stayed their and it was great ) also Bob Scott CG , may have water ( didn’t stop their )

Stayed at Wal Mart in Fallon, Nv. in 2007

Have fun and a safe trip. Jay

HI Ralph,
just checking in to see what you are up too and checking out the pictures.
Still a lot of fires in So. Oregon but they are gaining on some of them. Have a good time fishing and visiting with your cousin. Jay

HI! Ralph,
WOW! you are finding some nice spots to camp, love the Montana Beauty #3 picture from Deval Cr. CG.
A few weeks ago you were in hot weather and we were at the Oregon coast with 65+ weather, now we are at home with some bad fires north & west of us.
Several fires with a combine of near 45,000 acres the smoke is real bad that we stay inside, these fires are going to be with us for awhile at least until it rains.
Ralph, have a good time and I will be checking in to see what you are up too. Jay

HI Ralph,
just got back from the coast and catching up on your adventures. It's been hot here in the Rogue Valley but nice on the coast mid 60s.
We have been on Hwy. 12 Idaho to Montana and really enjoyed the drive, try to find a cool spot and relax.

Jay
