Glad to see you are out and about once again. I'll be checking in on your adventure often. Drive safe and thank you for the great reports. I'm working on my adventures as well, just much much shorter and closer to home. Be sure to wave at the Lance on a Chevy as you pass,it just might be me !!! Ty

My apologies to those who signed my Guest Book between Oct 9, 2014 and today. I usually get an email when someone signs it, but that stopped for some reason. You should have received an email from me by now, though.

I'm starting my rambles a bit late this year. They will start in about a week.

Thanks for following my travels and I'm always glad to get posts here or an email. Keeps me from getting lonely. :)

Great information, Ralph. Thanks for sharing it. We have a Lance 845 on a 2500 Chevy Silverado. This rig has served us well the past few summers. We often tow our C-Dory Angler as well. We're a few years out from where we can go on the road full time, but we're looking forward to it.
Happy Travels,
Jack & Barbra Donachy

My wife wants a travel trailer and take it to a park to set up for the summer. A travel trailer that doesn't travel... I want a pick up slide in camper to roam, any advise on what to do?

My first time on your site and I am hooked. My wife and I have been RV'ers since 2005 and have had 2 trailers. We now have a new Lance camper and like it even better. We do some rock hounding, fly fishing, photography, and we just bought an inflatable kayak. Thanks for giving such a great accounting of so many great forest service CG's as well as BLM and state campgrounds. You are doing what we have pictured us doing for the next few years at least. We are one year into retirement. We might start including some music festivals as we both enjoy bluegrass and American Traditional music. Also really like the way your site is set up;very easy to negotiate. Hoping to meet up some day on the trail...John

HI Ralph,
hope that you are getting some rest after a great summer trip. We have been getting some rain and we are a head for the year and hope that it stays that way.

Ralph are you going to be in the truck camper photo contest this year ? let me know so I can put my vote in.

Jay

Well, Ralph, I've really enjoyed following along with you, but like us, you've put your camper away for the year. Looking forward to next year's travel blog.

HI Ralph'
I hope that you are felling better and enjoying the last days of your trip.
We camped at Horsethief CG. when were in Utah seeing all the NP. in the area, we also stayed at the Lower Lehman Creek CG. on the way home last year.
Have a good and safe trip home. Jay

Hi Ralph,

Sorry to hear you were ill--hope you're feeling better now. It must be ROUGH to be sick in a camper!
